Make a Donation—
and help greyhounds find their forever homes.

	Golden State Greyhound Adoption is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that depends solely on private contributions. Your tax-deductible donation will support our rescue and adoption efforts, enabling us to find loving homes in which racing greyhounds can retire. Each year, we find homes for more than 100 greyhounds. Your contribution will help us cover these costs:
Medical bills: We provide greyhounds with routine veterinary care before they are adopted. We also treat dogs that have sustained broken legs and other injuries on the racetrack so they, too, can retire in a loving home. Foster care: Some retired racers live with a foster family before they are adopted. We pay for the foster dogs’ food and other expenses. Public education and outreach: We hold meet-and-greets almost every weekend throughout the greater Bay Area. Staffed by our volunteers, these events are an opportunity for potential adopters to meet a greyhound in person and learn more about greyhounds and our adoption process. By educating the public about the plight of racing greyhounds, we help them find their forever homes. It’s easy to donate with your credit card by using Pay Pal.
